*  STARs will be used as ARs for NCSL U-14 games and for all U-13 games, but if ARs are assigned by assignors, pay is $25

     **  Special Team Assistant Referees (STARs) will be used as ARs for all U-12 games.                           

Bonus Program for NCSL and WAGS Referees

NCSL and WAGS will pay a $200 bonus each season for 25 games worked.

The bonus will be paid for total games worked.  These include all NCSL and WAGS, all age groups, all games as center referee or assistant referee, and all games not assigned but for which referees “step in” to work.  (Games worked as STARs do not qualify for the bonus.)  Assignments which referees do not work due to rainouts, reschedulings, forfeits, etc. do not count toward the bonus.

At the end of the season, if you qualify for a bonus it will be your responsibility to submit a BONUS REQUEST FORM to your principal assignor.  They will verify that you have met the bonus requirement, and the bonus will be included in your regular referee check for the season.

WAGS "No AR" Bonus

• WAGS will continue to recognize the additional effort involved if the referee has no ARs and will pay a differential as follows: U-17-19, +$35; U-15-16, +$30; U-13-14, +$25.  Assignors will automatically include these payments in final paychecks.
